His size limits his speed, but there is the ability to be found there. Flashes special athletic ability. Doesn’t have the speed to defend the perimeter very well. Explosive athlete… Very strong upper body… Powerful lower body gives him drive on power rushes. Brute power is there. Fun guy on tape… Doesn’t offer a whole lot of bend. Has a stiff upper body. Wins mostly with positioning correctly and using his power to move forward… Not a great space defender, gives up a lot of angles. Oftentimes misses tackles in space… Not the greatest pursuit defender. Is normally near the ball but many times misses tackles… Good instincts in coverage… Really needs to be better about controlling his emotions on the field.
