James Cook Scouting Report

Excellent speed. Angle breaker. Changes direction very well. Excellent cut ability. Works through traffic with a strong series of jump cuts. Body control Is phenomenal. Accelerates very well. So explosive from the handoff.

Reads blocks very well. Manipulates defenders extremely well. Does not go down with first contact very often. Great hands for a running back. Shows the ability to high point the football and an outstanding catch radius. Not just a receiver out of the backfield, but a strong receiver out wide. Absolute mismatch against a linebacker. Shows the ability to catch the ball through contact. Strong route runner. Very deceptive with his movement, has the speed to outrun safeties and linebackers.

Offers a good hit on his pass protection assignment to significantly slow him down. Works very well in pass protection to find the free man and contain him.
