In his last year at MS he showed some great potential though. Johnson ended up with 17 receptions for 238 yards (14 YPC) and a touchdown, while not amazing it was impressive overall. Justin will be a quality depth addition for the Breakers.

The Breakers second round pick keeps a former New Orleans Saint in the city in Keith Washington. Washington spent 2 seasons with the Saints before coming to an injury settlement in 2021 and leaving the team. Round 3 Pick 5 – Tyrone (TJ) Logan JR. – RB – New Orleans Breakers

TJ Logan was the Breakers 3rd round pick, and has some experience at the NFL level. Logan has spent 5 seasons in the NFL, split between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Arizona Cardinals. While he has only had limited snaps at the next level, his NFL pedigree will certainly help the Breakers running back room develop. He did add up to over 2000 rushing yards in college at 2165 with 19 rushing touchdowns at UNC. This bodes well for his USFL career, as he has been shown to be productive previously.

Round 4 Pick 4 – Shareef Miller – DE

Shareef Miller is a player many fans are excited for in the USFL. Miller was a 4th round pick in the NFL draft as well in 2019 by the Philadelphia Eagles. While he has not settled in his few seasons in the NFL, he has been on both active rosters and practice squads for a few teams. Miller had a very good college career however, gathering 14.5 sacks and 31.5 tackles for loss in his three seasons played, as well as a forced fumble and 2 recoveries. He will be a nice addition to the Breakers front 7 without a doubt.

Round 5 Pick 6 – Aashari Crosswell – S – New Orleans Breakers

The final pick we will cover in this article is safety Aashari Crosswell. Crosswell is a very interesting prospect, as he was only just signed from the 2021 UDFA class. Aashari was on the Seattle Seahawks practice squad in 2021, however was released prior to the season. In college, he was very good however, with 6 interceptions, 19 passes deflected, 3 forced fumbles and 2 recoveries in 2 seasons.
